I tried a couple of agents, as soon as they   got the listing we never heard for them much after the first 60 days or so and was on the market for a year.  We decided to go For Sale By Owner figuring we could save the commission since we could not see the value of a agent. Then we met Neal at an open house, we were trying to figure out why our home was not selling or getting many showings

 We traded some   e-mails and phone calls back and forth and I decided to give him an interview to list my home.  I must admit I was skeptical of using a agent again and asked him a lot of hard questions.

Neal   listened and asked us some hard questions also. Neal was always in touch with us about the market.  We highly recommend and thank him and Baird & Warner for getting  our home sold.

We would like to send a quick note regarding Neal Paskvan, our Baird & Warner real estate agent that helped us find the home of our dreams.

Our search started a little over a year ago in March 2010.  Being first time home buyers and knowing very little about the real estate “game”, Neal showed nothing but patience and comforting encouragement.  The process of figuring out what we really wanted meant many trips into houses that left much to be desired… and although we are sure Neal could have told us that they would not be ‘the one’, he always supported our search, knowing that smart home buyers had seen them all.  And boy, by the time we found our home… we had seen it all!

We have been in our Home now for 8 months, and life could not be better.  We know that Neal is still there if we have questions (which sure came in handy when we had our first battle with a sump pump) and will be a trusted friend for life.

Dear Baird and Warner,

Your Agent, Neal Paskvan was AWSOME in helping us purchase our first home. At our first meeting and after giving him a list of all the things we wanted in a home he gave us some “homework” to do.

 Neal gave us a spreadsheet to work on, listing ALL of our expenses (yep even dog food) and where all our money was currently going so we could figure out how much we could conformability afford.

After working and reworking Neal’s spread sheet, We were totally surprised how all our money was spent. Most of the money we were spending was on just getting out of the apartment! Things like going to the laundry, eating out 2-3 times a week.  We cut way back on our spending of things that were not really important to our goal of getting a Home of our own!

We are now in our own home instead of an apartment. Our payment is only $63 per month more than the rent we were going to have to pay at the apartment, and we will make up some of that by the interest deduction on our taxes!

 Friends and family are always wanting to come over! Our dog Rex has a yard of his own to romp in and we painted our place in the tones we love!

Hello Neal,

Don and I just wanted to say Thanks Again for helping my Mom and Dad.  Your understanding of the fact that they needed to move out of the home they worked so hard for, raised 3 kids and held so many memories for all of us was truly a gift.

Mom and Dad are really adapting well to their new townhome and have started to make some new friends!  I can also see that they seem to be a bit more tidy in the new home since it’s all not so much of a burden for them to keep up with things.

Thanks for patience and expertise in getting the “dusty old place” sold and getting them into a home they could enjoy again.
